Wish I Had the Sound Here
DMIR 202, 869, 308, and 207 work up Proctor Hill and through the S-curve at MP 2 with limestone loads back in 2007. We're just over 3 years after the Missabe takeover and non-turbocharged consists like this were still hanging on. They would eventually disappear as CN brought in more EMD 645s to replace this older DM&IR power.
I really miss the sight and sound of these engines up Proctor Hill, but on the bright side, 4-packs of EMD 645s still bring this very Minntac limestone train up Proctor Hill in 2020.
