Sacramento Historic City Cemetery (SHCC) and Victorian Garden
The SHCC came into existence during the height of the California Gold Rush Era in 1848 when Sacramento city came into its own as well. One of the hallmarks of this era is the wrought iron fencework on exhibit in abundance at the cemetery and throughout the older buildings in the city itself.
