Maasvlakte 2 #4
Bert and I wanted to shoot Maasvlakte 2 today. Ever since WW2 Rotterdam harbour has been steadily moving to the west. Maasvlakte 1 was already partly conquered from the salty waters of the Nort Sea, Maasvlakte 2, that's being build at the moment, will be a completely new addition and the North Sea will be driven backwards even more.
Construction workers are pipefitting on the border line. On top of the frame, in the background, you see the "old" Maasvlakte with its buildings and constructions.
