Hoi An - rainy night

Hoi An was the most important commercial port in Vietnam in the 16th century.

Lying 25 km south of Da Nang, today's charming little harbor town has much charm and Asian atmosphere. Hoi An is perhaps the most beautiful small town in Vietnam with its war-torn old town. With its approximately 70,000 inhabitants today, Hoi An was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.
