Lady of the Lake in the Golden Morning Sun
Tiger safari is not for everyone; certainly not for the type “A” persons and for those not willing to rough it out in the jungle. After going through two tiring and tortuous Safaris in the scorching heat of Ranthambhore, we sighted the famous female tiger officially known as T17, but for admirers the “Lady of the Lake” on our third try. She is the daughter of the famous “Machhli”. Her territory includes the Rajbagh lake and most of the area covered by tourist Zone 3 and part of Zone 4. Here is one of the first shots taken. Here she stopped in her tracks to consider a sambhar deer. Location, Mandook in Zone3, Ranthambhore.
