Detail of some rusted d-rings in some abandoned trawler nets on Fleetwood Docks.

 

I wanted to bring out roughness and the pitted surface caused by the rust so I went to town when using the gimp (crop, desaturate, levels, sharpen mask, hard light filter, sharpen mask again, and then some final darkening in the output levels.
