Weekend Windowsill

The last daffodils I had on the windowsill were the brightest yellow. I bought these Daffodils (buy one, get one free in Waitrose!) as tight buds so was really pleased when they opened out to reveal lovely pale blooms.

 

The vase is a (very!) heavy glass one I inherited from my grandmother - like me, she loved to have fresh flowers on her windowsill.
