Rising with the Sun: A New Beginning
I woke up at 2:30am because I couldn't go to sleep well excited for the photo ahead. I got to the location around 5:30am and I was ready to shoot.. only there were less than a dozen of us there so we couldn't really form a group. As the next hour passed, scores of photographers come and we started to huddle in a group.. in the middle of the street.. "Strength in Numbers right?" . Eventually it got to the point where we amassed more than 200 photographers in the middle of the street crossing walk and formed a human barricade. It got to the point where cars were turning left or right and not drive down the street unless they had to. Luckily, the street was a 4 lane street so we still had a single lane of traffic going through if they really want to.
It was pretty crowded with photographers and their tripod as you can imagine, and I met new photographer friends there which was pretty awesome!
This was one of my bucket list shots that has now become very popular in the local photography community. Scratch one off the list!!!!
