On the 13th Day of December...
I baked chocolate chip cookies for the humans ....
The two boys in my life asked why Daisy had had freshly baked cheese biscuits and I had not baked chocolate chip cookies for them, so, here they are ready to bake for their return home from work ~ KissThePixel2019
Debbies Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:
150g salted butter, softened
50g light brown muscovado sugar
50g granulated sugar
2 tsp Pure Vanilla extract
1 large egg
200g plain flour
Milk chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar together, add flour, egg and vanilla to form a dough, add the chocolate chips into the dough, roll out, use a festive cookie cutter and bake at 160 degrees for 10-12 minutes or depending on your oven.
(tip: before adding chocolate chips or chunks cover them in flour and shake off excess this prevents them from sinking to the bottom of the biscuit, you can do this for cakes too, chocolate chips/chunks bake evenly through cake or cookie if lightly dusted in flour)
