Trump is doing a ton of horrific things against anyone who isn't white, male, heterosexual, able bodied, and extremely rich but one story that has been buried and continues to not get much attention is how lessening of USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) will enable more cruelty to animals and will thereby also increase many harmful hormones in our food as well. From soring or big licking horses to puppy mills, this administration doesn't really care how animals are treated. As a vegan who believes in both human rights and animal rights, I've always believed it says a great deal about a person if they are willing to cause pain and death to an animal when they don't have to. I'm not surprised that Donald Trump condones this sort of thing but it should still alarm many people who care about animals in this country.
