Horseshoe bend HDR
Horseshoe Bend rendered in HDR. It was super windy and the dust was blowing hard. It stung when it hit and I felt like the wind was going to blow me over the edge any second. We met 3 French tourists traveling around the west on their 3 week holiday. They had all finished college the year before and were now working. The young lady with them walked right to the edge and sat down without a care in the world. Inches away from the sloping edge was a 1600 foot drop. The emergency physician in me cringed because I knew that it was a 100% fatal fall. She and her friends enjoyed the view for about a half hour and then hiked out with us after sunset.
