G.I.Joe is feeling a lil blue!!!
G.I. Joe has been such an integral part of my childhood and adulthood. I absolutely love this figure/doll- he has been with me as long as I can remember. I fondly remember getting him for Christmas. He came in the standard G.I. Joe packaging of the early and mid 70s. He was dressed I this blue uniform, along with a white hat, boots and a white rifle. Boy, was I excited. Not only did I have a new Joe to join the team but my Barbies had a new man in town. I didn't have a Ken doll at that time, so he fit the bill just fine. Fast forward to 2015, I found him packed away with a lot of clothing & accessories. The memories immediately came flooding back. Growing up in the country gave my imagination so much fuel. He was a huge part of that. This toy is so special to me. I'm grateful I still have him as a part of my collection and I'm hoping to have him there for years to come. They just don't make toys like this anymore.
