I had the honor of getting to know Laura over the last few photo walks we've been on. She is an incredible photographer, artist, and writer, as well as a really fun and inspiring friend.

 

We have fun conversations that always taps into my right brain, and after a session of photography with her, I always feel inspired and motivated.

 

We went to do portraits at Lands End in San Francisco yesterday, but I ended up taking a ton of candids of her during our photo walk after the portraits. We didn't have too much time before, so I made the most out of the rest of the day.

 

As I've been inspired by Laura, I've also been inspired by the many Instagram photographers I've met recently. It's a whole new world of photography there. Because of the limitations of gear, you skip the expectations of pixel perfect photos, and go straight to the raw art of photography. I've started approaching all my photography with a different mentality now, and hopefully for the better.
