Ilford PanF Film Simulation
These were images taken from my X-Pro1 during my walk with my demo of the Sony RX1.
This is test of my Ilford PanF 50 Film Simulation preset.
I researched as much info as I could find about PanF for this and applied it to this preset. I also compared hundreds of images (I have a test set of images I run these against). I build all my film presets off of a base set of parameters, then I did comparisons of PanF developed examples against a variety of digital colour examples.
I then apply my understanding of the film and calibrate the colours between the two. Once I'm happy with the base configuration, I then run it against my test samples and tweak against all those samples to find a nice happy medium.
