[Yes, as in all my photos with fire: it's real. =) I stood barefoot in an icy cold lake up in Canada and shot this image. The fog was so thick and beautiful, and the water perfectly still. Such an incredible, incredible morning.
I've been thinking a lot lately about the value of deep listening. There is something to be said for having a one-on-one conversation with a friend and *really* being present for it. Listening without judgement, like the quote said, and caring about what is being shared with you.]
