Showing off those feathers

Nearly every evening this one Mourning Dove comes and has a go at our feeder and often will just sit along this rock & grass below for quite awhile. Other birds will come along and he quietly picks at the seeds with them or stays nestled in the grass watching them. What a sweet visitor!!

 

I would have liked just a bit clearer focus on those tail feathers as he fanned them out, but I think this is still a nice picture.....it reminds me of Peacock's showing off their plummage.
