The Russfin gold dredge is a mechanical shovel located in the town of Russfin, 37 km. west of Villa Cameron, in the commune of Timaukel in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Chile. The cast iron machine is a vestige of what was the origin of the settlement of the island by foreigners, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was brought from England at the time of the gold rush and was used to remove the earth in the extraction of the mineral. It functioned between 1904 and 1910. It was declared a Historical Monument by Supreme Decree No. 556 of 1976.
