Ajax Experience

This past week I've been supporting the Adobe (my employer) at a conference centered around a technology called "Ajax". We're here talking largely about our integration capabilities with said technology. Consisting of about 450 attendees, the conference went pretty well, though by the end of the week, booth traffic died down considerably. All for the better I suppose as I caught a cold along the way and wasn't really feeling up to answering "What is Flex?" for the 200th time.

The conference was held at the Westin St. Francis, one of my favorite hotels - though it was booked so I had to stay down the street at the Hilton. I'm working JavaOne (also in San Francisco) the following week, so Marna and Paige came in the for the weekend. Marna's been researching the trip for a while and has a good list of child-friendly activities. Last I heard, JavaOne was estimated at 14,500 attendees. I suspect that the traffic will be considerable.
