Following our alt build of set 70676 Lloyd’s Titan Mech, we decided to run it back, this time using set 10267 Gingerbread House. Typically, I like to create a finished product that can be viewed from all angles, but I learned to slightly deviate from that mindset this time round. With 1,477 parts at my disposal, I had a harder time thinking of how to maximize the available pieces. I started messing around with the reddish-brown, forming a nice studs down wooden chair. From there, I took advantage of the white plates and tiles to build a desk, and then constructed a wall section of masonry bricks for a more complete scene. The set contains small amounts of many different colors, which made for a colorful collection of books. The result is a cozy interior scene, my first creation at this larger scale. I’m most pleased with the desk drawers, the chair, and the camera.
