Half Moon Lake

A very popular fishing venue near Wakefield in West Yorkshire UK.

The Half Moon Lake gets it's name from the shape, it was at one time part of the River Calder but many hundreds of years ago it became isolated as the river changed it's course.

This is a HDR shot on a very calm April afternoon, we are being blessed with some great weather at the moment.
