The Batman Symbol

My sister got a £5 typewriter off of eBay yesterday. I thought I'd play around with it, so I re-wrote a page from an old Rails tutorial book I had lying on my bookshelf. One annoying factor about the typewriter is it doesn't have some characters that I normally use while typing: like equals, hash or the Batman symbol.
