Done! My earliest complete picture of this block finishes off the set.
For most blocks between Spadina and Bathurst, I've made the block 3 or 4 times. This will be my seventh complete picture of this block, probably the most of any block. If it turns out I've shot any block more it will be between Gladstone and Dovercourt.
I was walking west in the morning when I took these pictures. The West edge (right) is six minutes later than the east edge. For some reason I rushed through the West half of the block with half as many pictures. Part of that would be that you are in the middle of Portland street when shooting Velvet Underground.
I’m pleased enough with this source — shot 14 years ago with a tiny Olympus pocket camera — that I’ll travel with only my current pocket camera on my next trip to Toronto. Finally, I’m able to plan a trip. Fingers crossed.
That Olympus camera was a gem, but its very promise of durability invited using it in extreme circumstances, hastening its demise.
