Great Hall of Union Station

The Great Hall of Union Station is one of the most beautiful places to wait for a train. With marble floors and walls, a vaulted glass ceiling and soaring columns, it is an architectural master piece. Originally designed by Daniel Burnham, his death in the middle of the project caused other architects to take over and finish the station.
