Puerto Chiapas, Mexico (2014 Cruise)

Port stop in Puerto Chiapas, Mexico as part of our 14-day Panama Canal Cruise in January, 2014.

Puerto Chiapas is in southern Mexico near the Guatemala border. We took a tour bus first to Tuxtla Chico where we saw a demonstration of local chocolate making and dancing, and then toured a local church and market. Our bus then took us the site of some Mayan ruins.
