Last Tuesday night was about the only really clear night we had to shoot the stars at Little Sable lighthouse. I asked who wanted to come and sit out at the beach and view the stars while I took photos. I got 4 to go along, my daughter Monica and 2 nieces and a nephew tag along with me.
We got to the lighthouse about midnight as I knew the moon was going to rise about 1:30 AM. Everything was going great, I was taking photos and the kids were enjoying the stars until we saw headlights coming from the parking lot.
I was just about done so we packed up and started to leave and that is when we met the park ranger. The park ranger reminded us that the park closes at 10:00 PM and it was time to leave.
Whey are the parks and neat place to photograph not very photography friendly with the times they are open. Most places open after sunrise and close before dark.
