Canon 5D Mk I versus Olympus OM-D test 3/4

Canon 5D Mk I using Canon 35mm f/2.0 lens

shot at f/2.8 with auto white balance, ISO 200, autofocus in center, JPG fine.

I'm posting these full size images so that I can have a good basis of comparison between the Olympus OM-D and my old camera, the Canon 5D Mk 1. I chose to shoot the Canon at ISO200 because that's as low as the Olympus goes. I tried to maintain equivalent sensor plane position, within half an inch or so, and the jack-in-the-box didn't move at all during shooting. I also chose to use their default full quality JPG output. Even though I always shoot in RAW I didn't want to have to worry with processing, importing, how much to sharpen, etc. This isn't dpreview, this is just my personal testing so I'm not worried here so much about color as I am lenses, sharpness, blur, etc.

Long story short - the OM-D is not the same level of quality as the 5D but it's not far behind - and for what I do it'll be a great replacement.
