Wing in ground effect craft
This concept has been kicking around in my head for some time now and it utilizes the propulsion concept FanWing by inventor Pat Peebles. A wing in ground effect craft flies over the surface of the water like a seaplane but it is registered as a boat because it's always within ten feet or so from the water. These vehicles have larger cargo capacities and consume less fuel than airplanes, boats or hovercraft because they have less drag. I didn't spend much time on this model, because all I wanted was to create a simple form to hypothesize with.
