Day 245/365: School Supplies
I can already hear a lot of parents singing "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year." Or at least getting tuned up to sign it. I know my parents did when I was a kid.
I remember the days when school supplies consisted of notebooks, three ring binders (I remember when Trapper Keepers were cool), the Internet was just coming out, there was no such thing as tablets and we actually had to write stuff down on paper using pens and pencils.
Nowadays, everything has been pretty much been taken over by computers and tablets. Textbooks are now available for immediate download for a cheaper price, notes can be taken on a word processor (I still use notebooks for math classes) and some classes are now held online anywhere in the world. I do a lot of school work and classes at the coffee shop (where this photo is taken).
How time have changed.
So, here are my school supplies. I will admit: my backpack does feel lighter without five 100 pound textbooks in my bag.
