Mississippi Kite

I noticed he continually left his branch and and maneuvered in the air and would catch a cicada in his beak. If you notice here, he not only has one in his beak, but in his talons as well. He kept loading up and transferring them to his talons and then flew into a tree across the street, where I presume the nest was, to feed the juvenile. Should know soon when the juvenile leaves the nest - in past years the juvenile hangs out on this same tree and waits for the adults to deliver and transfer cicadas to him!
