Out at sea {(35/365)explored}

"When kings upon the main have clung to pride

And held themselves as masters of the sea

I've held them down beneath the crushing tide

Till they have learned that no one masters me

But grace can still be found within the gale

With fear and reverence, raise your ragged sail"

Today was an interesting day. I went to fellowship today and went to take this shot right after. I picked this spot out a couple days ago. It is actually a flooded area behind a storage area a few miles away from my house. When I got there, I got cold fast. The water was very cold. I placed a few of these paper boats in the water and the wind started to pick up and blew them out of the frame. It also started snowing right after I showed up. I was freezing. The area around here was mostly gravel and the cold water and gravel didn't feel so great on the blisters on my feet from last night. I grabbed one boat and took this shot. I didn't take the time to frame it, focus it, and barely glanced my lcd screen. When I got home I only had the one boat in the picture so I placed the others on the floor and took a picture of them. The rest are edited in. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Between trespassing and the miserable whether, this was probably my least favorite shot to actually shoot so far.

I finished my essay for my writing class today.
