Networker Turbo, Birmingham Snow Hill station
Once upon a time there was a sector of British Rail that traded as "Network SouthEast", and it invested heavily in new rolling stock - its diesel multiple unit version was known as the Networker Turbo. This used to run services from London Marylebone to Banbury, and no further. These days many services with Networker Turbo stock (Class 165) are extended to Birmingham Snow Hill, and even Kidderminster, running with Chiltern Railways. Here's a class 165 poking its cab end into the sun - note the cowelling above to channel the fumes away from the platform.
