Black Poplars in Winter
A few of the rare Black Poplars in St Asaph, North Wales, during the cold snap of Winter early 2010. Unfortunately the Council have seen fit to employ "tree surgeons" to dramatically mutilate most of them, in order to "render them safe" for the passing public.
I tried to find the best view to minimise the surgery. Walk around any of these trees and it becomes very obvious.
