Y Garn first rays

I managed a very early start to drive up and get out on the hill before sunrise. I was a bit too early and had to wait a little too long for comfort as it was bitterly cold. Even with all the right kit, I had to stamp around and hold my resolve until the sun lit up the tops.

 

This was taken on the flank of Pen Yr Ole Wen looking over Llyn Ogwen to Y Garn, the striking airmchair shaped, glaciated Cwm with a sunlit top.
