Setting Off For The Alps 1975

Scanned from a small old print, so please forgive the quality. Pete, Kev, Mitch and Bri putting all our hopes and too much gear into my old Escort for a 3000 mile round trip. Our first alpine climbing visit was a huge learning curve and we made plenty of mistakes. We managed to get to the top of the Weissmies, 4023 metres high and the highest in the north eastern Pennine Alps, climbed the Tsalian Ridge and the Pigne D'Arrolla. Brief visits were then made to Chamonix, Venice and the Dolomites.
