Berberis Before

Collected from a friends hedge because she hated cutting it. It's quite rare to find such a thick Berberis. It was just a twin trunked stump with not a single bud or branch. A bit of carving was done to improve the illusion of taper. Amazing chrome yellow wood! This is three years after collecting. The Dan Barton pot is over a metre across. I believe it is the largest he ever made.
