MapleForest 8-10-08 005

A "safety" shot of my Japanese Maple forest as it approaches peak colour for Autumn 2008. (I often lose all the leaves overnight in a gale!) This is before a final trim of new growth for winter, to tidy up the silhouette. I always leave that until the leaves have gone.
