(Project 21980 Grachonok) P-104 Pennant 889, built at the A.M. Gorky shipyard, Zelenodolsk in 2009 and named NAKHIMOVETS in 2013.
By the order of the Commander-in-Chief of RF Navy, the lead counter-terror boat of Project 21980, built by the OJSC Zelenodolsk Plant was named by M. Gorky as P-104 Nakhimovets.
Counter-terror boat Grachonok, which joined the Baltic Fleet, is currently based in Kronshtadt. The name was proposed by the Saint-Petersburg Union of graduates from Suvorov’s military schools, Nakhimov’s naval schools and cadet’s colleges to commemorate the 70-year anniversary of the Nakhimov Naval School.
According to the proposal, the next boats of project 21980 can be named 'Suvorovets' (Cadets).
