T43 Class (Converted) Seagoing Minesweeper (Project 254) Pennant No. UTS-142

Built in 1948 as a T43 Class seagoing minesweeper, pennant number T-44, she was renumbered to MT-44 in 1966, to OS-191 in 197, and converted to a training ship and finally renumbered to UTS-142 in 1971. It is this number she carried to the end, as she now settles into the waters of the Kronstadt military seaport on Kotlin Island, off Saint Petersburg, in the Gulf of Finland.
