Robins Eggs Nest & All

A Robin has decided to build a nest on a fairly low ledge of my house. I am a bit concerned that the neighbor cat will get up and get the whole family once the eggs hatch, but their is not much to do because if I touch the eggs the mother will reject them anyhow.
