Up close and personal

I loved the Cave of the Winds experience. There was a little museum at the top that gave some fascinating history of the use of the falls to generate electricity. And then we were taken down by a lift to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls. There was even a place where you could stand directly under the falls (I did not- I felt wet enough from the boat trip and the spray from the falls was quite wet enough for me too). This was a lot of fun and I felt quite exhilarated from getting so close to the falls. The falls in this shot are mainly the American Falls which are the much more massive falls adjacent to Bridal Veil (just separated by "Luna Island").
