Russian Ridge Preserve

Lake that is part of the Russian Ridge Preserve in the Santa Cruz mountains. This was taken late on an October afternoon after a pleasant walk with friends. We would usually go in the spring to see the wild flowers but it's also beautiful in the autumn, especially when lockdown meant that the usual spring walk did not happen.

 

The building is the nature center. Alas closed. But it's usually excellent (when open...).
