This photo was more of a journalism or street photography shot because I found this situation and didn't set it up. While out driving to New Hamburg we came across this accident (the young driver was okay).
As I edited this, I decided that a plain, journalistic photo would be too boring. I increased the contrast and brightness to make the snow match the sky - it was the only way to make a white truck stand out. Because everything is white it engages the viewer to decipher the photo and find the truck.
