Happy Khmer New Year! 🙏
Khmer New Year (a.k.a. Choul Chnam Thmey and/or Songkran) is a major celebration in Cambodia that marks the traditional solar new year. It is celebrated every year during the whole week of April 14th and features various customs, rituals, and festivities that emphasize family, gratitude, and spiritual renewal. And, much like Songkran in Thailand, there are also water-gun fights and the smearing of baby powder all over your face and clothes, if you're not careful. 😁

Most people head back to their home provinces to celebrate with family, similar to the mass exodus from the cities that occurs during Chinese New Year.
The three boys above (yes, they are all boys 😅) are always happy to strike a pose. Now, more than ever, 'peace' seems like the right pose. ☮️
