Since my Pentax 300mm is in the shop I arranged for a 300mm Canon to mount on the 5D. I can't say I'm a big fan of in lens image stablization. Waiting for the lens to spool up is a bit annoying. I think Pentax and Sony got it right with the in body stablization.
