Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes Death Valley National Park

Another of the Death Valley photo's. I chose to leave in the six or so other photographer's in the image. They were all over the sand dunes and were a part of the landscape.

I had my Canon 5d set up on a tripod. As it turned out I took some of my better pictures with my trusty Pentax K-5 with the 18-135mm that was slung from my backpack. The nice thing about the 18-135mm is it has a gaint O-ring to seal it to the body so there is no worries about fine sand getting into the camera (Canon are you listening).
