D-CIAA Dornier Do.328-110 British Airways (Sun-Air of Scandinavia) MAN 12DEC05

Replacing an earlier digital photo with a better version 04-Jan-19.

Operated by British Airways franchise partner Sun-Air Denmark. Quite rare as the aircraft only had this registration for four months.

First flown in Jun-98 with the Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH test registration D-CDXB. This aircraft was stored at Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany after it's first flight before being delivered to Bristow Helicopters Nigeria as 5N-BRI in Dec-98.

It was sold back to Dornier as D-CDXJ in Nov-99 and sold to Suckling Airways (UK) as G-BYTY in Dec-99. Suckling Airways had been re-branded as Scot Airways at the end of Oct-99.

The aircraft was sold to Fairchild-Dornier GmbH in Nov-04 and stored at Nuremberg (Germany). It was re-registered D-CIAA in Jun-05 and leased to 'Sun-Air of Scandinavia' in Oct-05. Sun-Air was franchise operator for British Airways and the aircraft was painted in their full livery.

It was re-registered OY-NCD in Feb-06. It was returned to 328 Support Services GmbH in Feb-11 and stored. The aircraft was sold to the Sierra Nevada Corporation as N907EF in Jul-11. It was transferred to the USAF Special Operations Command in Dec-11, given the US Military serial 11-3104 in Jan-12 and designated as a Dornier C-146A Wolfhound. As far as I'm aware it's still in service. Updated 12-Dec-25.
