First flown as G-14-3069 by Short Brothers & Harland, this aircraft was leased to Guernsey Airlines in May-81 as G-BITX, it was sub-leased to Inter City Airlines in May-82, still in full Guernsey Airlines livery.
It was returned to Guernsey Airlines, sold to BAF British Air Ferries and leased back to Guernsey Airlines in Dec-83. It was returned to British Air Ferries in Sep-87. In Feb-88 it was sold to Fairflight Charters Ltd and sold back to Short Brothers in Jan-89.
In Feb-89 it was leased to Gill Aviation. Returning to Short Brothers in late 1989 the aircraft was stored at Exeter, UK. The aircraft was leased to Muk-Air, Denmark, in Apr-90 as OY-MUB. It returned to Short Brothers around Oct-00 and was stored at Bournemouth, UK.
It was broken up there in May-01. The fuselage was moved to Pocklington, East Yorkshire, UK and used as a gliding control cabin by The Wolds Gliding Club. It was still in use in 2011.
