It was sold to the CIS Corporation and leased to PEOPLExpress in Mar-86. PEOPLExpress was merged into Continental Airlines in Feb-87 and the aircraft was re-registered N10024 in May-91. It was returned to the lessor in May-93 and stored at Kingman, AZ, USA.
In Jul-94 the aircraft was leased to Tower Air and re-registered N614FF in Oct-94. It returned to the lessor in Nov-96 and was stored until it was leased to Continental Airlines again and sub-leased to Continental Micronesia in Feb-97. It was re-registered N14024 in May-97.
