C-GGWB Airbus A330-202 Canada 3000 Airlines MAN 12SEP98

Replacing an earlier scanned photo with a better version 12-Sep-21 (DeNoise AI).

Complicated history... First flown with the Airbus test registration F-WWKL, this aircraft was delivered to ILFC International Lease Finance Corporation and leased to Canada 3000 Airlines as C-GGWB in Apr-98.

Canada 3000 ceased operations in Nov-01 while this aircraft was en-route Toronto / Manchester and it was impounded at Manchester on arrival. It was returned to the lessor 11 days later and stored at Bordeaux in Dec-01 where it was re-registered F-WQQN.

It remained there until it was leased to Volare Airlines as I-VLED in Aug-02. The aircraft was returned to the lessor in May-04 and leased to Air Madrid as EC-IYN two weeks later. Air Madrid ceased operations in Dec-06 and the aircraft was repossessed by the lessor and stored at Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

It was leased to Air Comet in May-07 and re-registered EC-KIM in Jul-07. It was sub-leased to RAM Royal Air Maroc for a Haj Pilgrimage operation between Dec-08/Jan-09 and was returned to the lessor in Jul-09 as N272LF and stored at Beirut, Lebanon.

It sat at Beirut for more than two years until it was leased to Hi Fly Airlines Portugal as CS-TQP in Sep-11. During it's time with Hi Fly it has been leased to/operated for the UK Royal Air Force Dec-11/Oct-13, Livingston Air (Italy) Nov-13/Feb-14, Norwegian Air Shuttle Feb/May-14, Saudi Arabian Airlines May-14/Jan-15

Hi Fly later lost the Saudi Arabian contract in May-15 when one of their other aircraft ferried into Tel Aviv for maintenance while still in full Saudia livery! - Oh the horror!!!. The aircraft was also sub-leased to Conviasa (Venezuela) Feb/Aug-15, Royal Air Maroc Aug-15/Mar-16 and XL Airways France Jun/Sep-17.

In Dec-21 the aircraft was transferred to sister company Hi Fly Airlines Malta and re-registered 9H-TQP. It was operated in a 'C14/Preighter' configuration until it resumed full passenger service in Jun-22. It was withdrawn from service in Dec-24 and stored at Ciudad Real Central Airport, Spain. The aircraft is currently awaiting return to CSDS Aircraft Sales & Leasing as N3300C. Stored, updated 02-Oct-25.

Note: Hi Fly Portugal and it's sister company Hi Fly Malta mostly operate ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance & Insurance) services for other airlines worldwide, as well as their own charter flights.
