First flown at Toulouse, France in Mar-16 with the Airbus test registration F-WWAU, the aircraft was ferried to Airbus Germany at Hamburg-Finkenwerder two days later for interior fitout and painting.
It was delivered to Emirates Airline as A6-EUE in mid Aug-16 for service entry.
At the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Mar-20, the aircraft was withdrawn from service and stored at Dubai-World Central. It returned to Dubai-International in mid Sep-20 for further storage.
It ferried to Dubai-World Central again in mid Aug-21 and back to Dubai-International in mid Oct-21, before returning to service at the end of that month.
The aircraft was repainted in the '25years Emirates Skywards' special livery in mid Oct-25. Current. updated 29-Oct-25.
